The exhibition of abilities in productions and selling of hand made carpets isn't "amol manfe'a" even though there is some cases against this, it has been still put up.
Seyed Mohammad Rokh Sefat, one of the managers/leaders of the carpet sellers (Hand made) in the talk with the Moj report said:
This exhibition has been put without correct planning and it's been done in a rush by my co-workers.
He said: Ja'adod putting this exhibition has been the result in not having a good comment or ideas about the rugs that are in the exhibition.
He had mentioned his disagreement in putting this exhibition for the house carpets has pointed out to the company of the carpets that the members that are under this cover have put some conditions for themselves, for solving some problems from this company.
He then mentioned: considering the short time, the company of the carpets put the problems to be solved for the next year.
Rokh Sefat reminded that, even though this exhibition is for house carpets only; but they don't stop the importing rugs from participating either.
He then complained from the carpet organisation have still not been able to support the producers and exporters.
He asked support from the IRIB (Seda O Sima) in the advertisement of carpets, due to the high price of advertisement in the hand made carpets.
After a round of illness, Seyed Mohammad Rokh Sefat closed his eyes on the world and passed away.
Seyed Mohammad Rokh Sefat, Member and consultant manager of carpet workers, Saturday night passed away due to the physical problems that were created by cancer.
Rokh Sefat was born on 1321 and he has been a member of Carpets Company for many years.
The information center of Iran's carpet sent their condolences to this family.
Many of the members and co-workers appeared on his funeral to pay respect to him and his family. This was great of them. (God Bless Rokh Sefat)
News again and disagreements in the appearance of Iranian Carpet in the world cup: Impossible Dream!!!
Behrad Mehrjoo:
Peiker Pope Jean the second, had been put for two days on an Iranian carpet but no one had said anything about it in Iran"
This is a disappointment letter from one of the managers of the hand made carpets seller's union that later sparkled an idea for presenting a Persian Carpet to our competitors in the world cup.
The funeral of the catholic leader had made so much sound that the subject of the Iranian carpet had been totally put aside and forgotten. But the publish of the photograph of the popes' coffin on the Persian carpet had been a subject in many known European magazines, and television, and it had a great effect on the sell of the Persian carpets.
One of the members of the Carpet sellers union complains about the ignorance of Iranians towards this matter.
When Mr. Khatami walked on the carpet he didn't even once look at it to show the world in what stages the Persian carpet stands"
But with two Europeans magazines pointing this out; it has attracted the carpet sellers and it has occupied their thoughts and it has resulted in showing work like that in a place like that.
"There is no where better than a place that thousands of people visit for presenting the art of Iranians" this comment came from the heart of carpet sellers union.
They know that the Germans are the best buyers of Iranian carpets so why not show the carpets in their face in that country.
The idea was only in thoughts. Mohammad Dadkan found out about this news, he that himself is in the bazaar had come with open arms towards this idea.
If Dadkan wasn't here then maybe this project will never happen. In all it was his support that got the project till now."
This was said by Nayed, the manager of the carpet dealers Union.
His co-workers, "Rokh Sefat" also confirmed his comments.
This idea that had been put in the last months of the winter of 84 had been so stretched that in the second month of spring, the manager of the football with the representer have been to the carpet dealers union's office.
The meeting was held with the carpets dealers union appearing there, the exporters of carpets,( ) the national Iran's carpet canter's manager and Tehran's bazaar appeared there.
The result of this meeting, except the memorable picture was that 3 carpets were said to be made to be given to the three competitors that play against Iran in the world cup.
The carpets are going to be given designed the same way that Ahmadreza Abedzadeh gave to your Gon Clinsman in 1998 with the picture of Isfahan, but with the difference that this year Ali Dayi would give the gift in the size of 50 x 50.
Even though there is two month left to the world cup, there is still no news from the Iranian carpets. Some news against the carpets and for them was heard.
But maybe the strongest objection came from the exporters of the carpets. The members of this union were known to be the main things for this project but with the news of objections, they pulled out of this project.
The managers of the exporters of Iranian carpets said: "This project has nothing to do with the exporters of the carpets but it has to do with the sellers in Iran" He also added that "Even from the beginning we weren't supposed to help with giving the carpet."
Maybe the exporters didn't want to be partners with their co-workers but in the meeting they were counted as one of the voters.
The manager of the exporters of carpets union said this about this subject: giving gifts is a good thing to do but we have to see the way it's going to be" he also added "Till now there is no talk or thoughts for the experts of the carpet union"
But Rokh Sefat against these rumours and the cancelling of the plans for giving the carpets as gifts on the world cup said: all the plans have been done and these carpets as a symbol will be giving to our competitor in the world cup.
This is where the information sources give news that this project with the cancelling has been continued.
These carpets are to be said to be giving to the competitors of the opposite team and the managers that will appear in the world cup.
The designs of the carpets are peace full symbols. The logo of the football team has been put on the carpets also the logo of the mentioned Iranian carpet center.
The union of carpet dealers described it as this: "No one was happy that the union's logo will be on the carpets but what is on the top is this was a way of advertising for hand made carpet."
Even the Qom carpet weavers suggested that on the carpets they will put "Iran-Qom" but the union of the carpet dealers became against this idea.
On the primary design of the carpets, there is a fish that is the symbol of the movement and there is the wheat that shows peace and friendship. The hand made carpet dealers are hoping that with this personal help of Mohammad Dadkan will come to help them and the Persian rugs to be presented in the middle of the football team.
This is till when the budget will bring some of their dreams to reality. According to some people, not enough time was the result in the project taking place in danger. The end of Ordibehesht is the last chance in which they could represent the carpets but the Qom and the Tabriz weavers have still not shown any work from themselves.
One of the leaders of the carpet sellers union( that didn't want us to mention his name) said that they have already told other cities to represent their work, but ill now none of them are in the final stage.
The unions of other cities had the duty to give the hand weaved carpets in the middle of Ordibehesht. The type of these carpets are made out of silk and others… the talks of Dadkan and the managers of carpets union in the time of decision making for this project, the result of this was that in Germany the carpets would be represented there. From the beginning there was no talk about putting up an exhibition there. Nayeb, the manager of the hand made carpet sellers union said about this: there is no plan in putting up an exhibition. The main point is that there will be an advertisement for this artistic piece of work." The Tabriz's work was finished and presented but it was very different from what they wanted. The carpet sellers think that the future of this project is going to end in another film about how this project didn't work out proper.
